I DOUBLE the sauce recipe, because I feel it is too dry, especially when my husband over-cooks the meat loaves.
MEATLOAF
2 Pounds Ground Beef
2 Each Eggs, Slightly Beaten
1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
1/4 Cup Milk
1/4 Cup Catsup
1 1/2 Tsps Salt
1/4 Tsp Pepper
Onion Slices

SAUCE
1/2 Cup Butter
1/2 Cup Chopped Onion
1/2 Cup Catsup
1/4 Cup Dark Brown Sugar, Packed
1 1/2 Tsps Chili Powder
2 Tbsps Worcestershire sauce
1. Combine ingredients for meat loaf, EXCEPT the onion slices.
2. Divide into 8 oblong loaves and place on squares of foil, large enough to wrap with a little breathing room.
3. For Sauce; brown onions in melted butter and season with salt and pepper.
4. Add remaining ingredients and simmer.
5. Place onion slices and approximately 3 + tablespoons on each loaf.
6. Seal and grill 3 inches from flame for approximately 8 minutes per side.
