SPAGHETTI SALAD
Options: I prefer not to use any as the salad is great by itself. However a few options are black olives, whole or sliced, or marinated artichoke hearts, or pepperoni slices or avocado, or radishes sliced. I usually DOUBLE this recipe. HINT....don't put all the spaghetti in at first....you can always add as you go.
1 Pound Spaghetti Cooked Al Dente 1 Jar Salad Supreme Seasoning 1 Bottle Zesty Italian Dressing 1/2 Bulb Chopped Red Onion 1 Cup Chopped Green Onion tops 2 Cups Cherry Tomatoes Halved 1 Each Hot House or English Cucumber Sliced and Halved. DO NOT PEEL Lots of Parmesan Cheese 1. Cook spaghetti al dente per package instructions. Drain. 2. Add Salad Supreme while spaghetti is still warm and mix well. 3. Add dressing, onion, tomatoes, cucumbers and parmesan cheese. 4. Mix well and cover. I use a large bowl with a lid that seals tight. Periodically turn bowl over and chill overnight. 5. Flip over one more time before serving. |
